About
Leslie D. Hamilton.

Leslie D. Hamilton wants to live in a world where differences are appreciated and the intrinsic value of women, children and people of color is celebrated.

When she finds the world doesn’t live up to this ideal, she writes about it.

A poet and storyteller, Leslie has featured at numerous venues including the Barnes Foundation, the African American Museum of Philadelphia, for the Philadelphia Jazz and Soul Festival, at the Carteret Waterfront Park, at social justice events, in schools and libraries, and for Jazz Bridge, where she premiered “Blues for Trayvon Martin.”
